Position Title: Tibetan Buddhist Religious Teacher
We seek a Tibetan Buddhist Religious Teacher at the Samadhi Centre Contemplative Practices in Braemar, NSW, Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct talks on Tibetan Buddhism to share teachings and insights with the community.
- Lead workshops to delve deeper into Buddhist practices and philosophy.
- Guide meditation sessions to cultivate mindfulness and inner peace.
- Facilitate urban retreats for individuals seeking a transformative spiritual experience.
Employment Conditions and Wages:
You will be expected to hold sessions up to 5 times per week, within 7 days. The wage for this position is set at the minimum wage of $23.23 per hour, by Australian workplace standards.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Completed Geshe Degree within the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism
- Must have a moderate level of spoken, and written and a high level of comprehension of the English language.
- Must be a permanent resident or Australian citizen
